Matthew Schuler, Top 6 finalist of Season 5 of NBC’s The Voice and fan favorite, is using his musical platform to help spread the word about human trafficking by attending and performing at numerous premieres of the film 8 Days.
His song ‘Invincible,’ recorded in Los Angeles last week, is featured in the full-length feature film, which is inspired by actual events of children that have been trafficked in the US.
“‘Invincible’ is a song about overcoming the struggles in your life,” said Schuler. “We all face many tough times in our life but it’s important that regardless of the situation, we never give up and keep fighting.”
Schuler recently signed to NASTRAQ, a company that launches artists careers by marketing them online.
In addition to providing a song for the film, Schuler, will be attending and performing at numerous premieres around the country.
The 8 Days film and movement, dedicated to ending human trafficking, is being catapulted by nationwide premieres and awareness campaigns. The events in eight major US cities are fundraisers, political rallies, screenings and concerts that benefit local sex trafficking organizations.
This unconventional and unique approach to filmmaking pours ticket sales directly into local sex trafficking organizations. These organizations will use these funds for rescuing and rehabilitating victims as well as building and expanding safe homes.

The film will premiere in Nashville September 25 at the Regal Green Hills Theatre.
