Bar-B-Que Re-Wind Music & Food Festival set for Labor Day Weekend at Riverfront Park

The annual 2015 Bar-B-Que Rewind Family Fun and Music Festival is going to take place on September 5 in Nashville, a.k.a. ‘Music City U.S.A.’ This area is known for esteemed values, solid education, family and many good things—including a variety of music and quality entertainment from some of the most sought after, established R&B artists in the industry. The Re-Wind Bar-B-Que Festival will present music and the noted artistry of the following artists: Midnight Star, Shirley Murdock, Sunshine Anderson, Juvenile, DaBrat and Chubb Rock.

When the doors open promptly at 4 pm, CDT, on Sat., Sept. 5, Nashville’s Riverfront Park will experience the sounds of tantalizing music and some of the most sensational food aromas ever offered. It’s all combined with unforgettable performances in a place known to the world for hosting great music. The show starts promptly at 6 pm, CDT.

Come experience the various pit master’s cooking craft, hailing from various parts of the South, who have gathered to serve up some of the best barbecue in the region. It’s the perfect atmosphere for families and friends, fantastic foods and entertainment.

Guests will relax at Riverfront Park with piled-high plates of ribs, sausages, barbecue chicken, and burgers, and some of the most captivating live music performances of the year—all adding to the beauty of the Labor Day Weekend.

“The show will go on, rain or shine” according to organizers. For maximum enjoyment, guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.

The Re-Wind Festival is tied in with the John Merritt Classic XVII, an annual historic event and Tennessee State University staple. Football Fans will watch the Tennessee State Tigers go head to head with the Alabama State Hornets. This noted game takes place on Sunday, September 6, at 6 pm, CDT.

The second annual Re-Wind Bar-B-Que Festival the end of summer go-to place.
