Take action and do what God commands us to do. Bind that sickness in the name of Jesus and tell it where to go. God is not going to do it for you because he has given us his authority and the authority to use Jesus’ name. At His name, all forces on earth and heaven must bow. “ God exalted Jesus to a high place and gave him a name that is above every name, that is the name of Jesus, every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father,” Philippians 2:9-11.
Jesus is greater than anything and everything. All things must obey him. Your problem must bow to the name of Jesus. Whatever is troubling you must go in the name of Jesus. Your enemy (Satan) must flee in the name of Jesus. Cancer must go in the name of Jesus. Addictions must go in the name of Jesus. Do not tolerate sickness in your body because Jesus has already borne all sickness and all diseases in His body. He bore it all, so that you will not have to bear it in your body (1 Peter 2:24).
Speak like Jesus spoke. He healed a man by commanding deaf ears to be opened (Mark 7:31-37). He commanded blind eyes to see (Mark 8:22-26). As believers in Christ, you and I have been given the very same authority as Jesus. We are heirs of God and joint heirs with Jesus Christ (Romans 8:17-19). You must speak to your mountain (sickness, lack, etc.) and tell it to go in the name of Jesus.
What if someone were breaking into your home? You would do everything you could to stop the intruder. The same is true for sickness. Sickness is an intruder, something that you do not want in your body. The devil is the author of sickness and disease. He comes only to kill, to steal and to destroy (John 10:10). He is a thief that’s come to rob you of your health and peace. Do what is necessary to protect your body, your home and your family from all unwanted intruders.
No sickness, no diseases are coming into my body. I am sure that you are saying the same thing. Our bodies are Temples of God. The Holy Spirit resides in our bodies. Sickness and disease are evil trespassers. Cancer, diabetes or any other disease does not belong in God’s Temple. The very same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives inside every ‘born again believer.’ Far greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4).
