Nashville Welcomes Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball

Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball brings its fourth championship season to Nashville from February 5 through March 2, 2025, at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium.

3 time WNBA Champion Alysha Clark returns to Middle Tennessee with Athletes Unlimited.

World-class athletes in intense competition are coming to Music City. As women’s basketball continues to explode in popularity, Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball is bringing professional women’s basketball to the city, as the Nashville Municipal Auditorium will host the league’s fourth championship season this winter. Previous seasons of AU Pro Basketball took place in Las Vegas (2022) and Dallas (2023 & 2024).

The 24-game campaign will run from February 5 through March 2, 2025. The four-week competition promotes playoff-level intensity in every game. AU Pro Basketball features world-class talent. During the 2024 season, 29 of the 40 players had WNBA experience, and they are competing to be crowned individual champion.

The final 40-player roster features Olympians, WNBA Champions and emerging young talent. All 24 games will be broadcast across ESPN+, the WNBA App and FanDuel Sports Network. This season’s broadcast team will be led by veterans Sheryl Swoopes and Cindy Brunson.

The roster is headlined by three-time WNBA Champion and 2023 WNBA Sixth Player of the Year, Alysha Clark, two-time WNBA All-Defensive Team selection, Elizabeth Williams and three-time Canadian Olympian, Kia Nurse. Rising players Alissa Pili, Jordan Horston and Jaylyn Sherrod; two-time WNBA Champions, Kierstan Bell and Sydney Colson, 2021 WNBA Champion, Lexie Brown and Maddy Siegrist.

Five players have ties to the State of Tennessee; former Lady Vols Isabelle Harrison, Jordan Horston and Meighan Simmons; former MTSU & Belmont star Alysha Clark and Nashville native Dorie Harrison.

“The Sports Authority has paid close attention to the rise of women’s basketball, and the growth of women’s sports, over the past five years.  From surveying community interest in women’s professional sport to spotlighting local legends during the 50th Anniversary of Title IX, the Sports Authority is committed to the advancement of girls and women in sports on all levels,” said Monica Fawknotson, Executive Director, Metro Nashville Sports Authority. “We are thrilled to have Athletes Unlimited in Nashville for its fourth season.  To have this level of basketball talent playing in our backyard is a treat.”

AU Pro Basketball features a range of scoring innovations to bring athletes and fans a unique and intense version of the sport, while featuring a traditional full-court five-on-five format. Individual athletes earn points based on both team wins and individual performance to become the champions in team sports. Points are earned on every play and the leaderboard will change constantly.

In addition, teams change each week with the top four athletes in the standings serving as captains and drafting their teams. At the end of the four-week season, the player with the most points is crowned as the league’s individual champion.

Group and season tickets for the season are available now. The 40-player roster, as well as the full schedule for the 2025 AU Pro Basketball season, including broadcast information, game dates and times are available on the AU website.
