Actor Deon Cole is also a comedian and comedy writer. Originally from Chicago, he is best known for his writing on The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien. Cole is known for being a cast member on the sitcom Angie Tribeca as well, in which he has a lead role. He has appeared frequently in comedic bits and has received two Primetime Emmy nominations as a writer. His first stint into comedy resulted from a bet with a friend one night in the Windy City.

Cole has performed stand-up on programs such as John Oliver’s New York Stand-Up Show and Mash Up and Lopez Tonight. He created his own production company to produce the sketch comedy show Deon Cole’s Black Box. It premiered in 2013 on TBS, but was canceled that same year, a few months after its debut. Currently Cole has a recurring role on the ABC sit-com Black-ish, in which he plays the hilarious co-worker Charlie. Deon can also be seen in a lead role in the feature film Barbershop 3. He continues to be a featured guest correspondent on Conan.

As a comedian for over 20 years, Deon has done stand-up on Shaq’s All Star Comedy Jam on Showtime. He¹s been featured on Kevin Hart’s Hart-Beat Tour, Laffapalooza and Def Comedy Jam. He’s also had his own stand-up special on Comedy Central, Cole Blooded Seminar. Mr. Cole will be a guest in Music City this upcoming weekend. He will be delivering jokes at Zanies.
