“From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplies, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, makes increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love,” Ephesians 4:16.
From Christ the whole body, fitted and knit together by every supporting ligament, promotes the growth of the body for building up itself in love by the proper working of each individual part.
By Christ, the whole body (the believers, the faith workers, and the elect of God in the earth) increase in Him. We depend on Him because he is the head. This is why we are united in Him, and to one another. As the body of Christ, we have our being and form from Him. This is why in Him all are blessed.
Our life, light, righteousness, holiness, grace, strength, joy, peace, comfort, fruitfulness, perseverance, dependence, sustenance, protection, safety and glory all come from Him which is the head of the body. The union we have with Him is very close and compacted, supplying to every joint according to the effectual working in the measure of every part. Whatever we need, we are to rely on each other. We are one. We all work together to build up the kingdom of God. The Spirit of God makes us shaped and knitted together. Everything you have is from God. We support each other promoting growth of the body.
Whatever is needed to do the work of God’s Kingdom, Christ will give you. He will release in you a word that is supportive, helpful, giving, and able to build up the other part of the body for growth and establishment of love. We all have work to do. This is why we support one another; we seek to uphold each other. We edify for the working of each individual part.
We are empowered by Christ regarding the soul to empower one another. We are given increase to transfer to others. We will ultimately begin to work as one. The complete spiritual body, like the natural body, has work to do outside of itself. As LCHC (Life Church Healthy Church), there is a continual work of developing—construction, not destruction.
We are here to build up, not to tear down each other.
Construction means to make, set up, build, and raise. We are not to be destructive.
Destruction means to wreck, break up, knock down, tear down, pull down. Come on LCHC, let’s construct, not destruct! As we remain unified in the Spirit, we remain equipped to increase and empower others by building the body of Christ.
